The bootlid is sound, except that the torsion bar system no longer holds it open.
The bumpers and Motegi bits are structurally good, too …
… although there are plenty of stone chips lower down …
… and some spectacular lacquer peel on the back.

We bought it for spares but when we got ii home, realised it was too good to break. So we cleaned it and took it to a wedding ...

That Prelude taught us that we could do thousands of miles in a tin box without getting cross with each other. It made us spend our pocket money on mountain passes and lakes and ancient buildings and and.
We will almost certainly get another one at some stage.
