That replacement looks beefy.
Was the old piece on the left bolted straight into the block?

That might be your problem, the additional weight of sensors hanging in that area is known to cause metal fatigue if you bolt directly to the block.Andreika609 wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 12:05 pmyep in the place where is an oil pressure switch bolted originaly.
I have all my extra oil bits mounted fixed on the chassis with a braided hose running from that location on the block to them.

i saw your setup , nicely made. My problem was over tightened sensors as they are 1/8 npt type. And that caused a crack in adapter. Its aluminium and walls are very thin.Vtecmec wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 12:20 pmThat might be your problem, the additional weight of sensors hanging in that area is known to cause metal fatigue if you bolt directly to the block.Andreika609 wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 12:05 pmyep in the place where is an oil pressure switch bolted originaly.

So after some time had a chance to work on a car again
I did oil catch can , lines and vented valve cover. Engine valve cover will be repainted later
Also started working on 3 inch. down pipe and a full length exhaust Used pie cuts to do down pipe as even with traction bar 3inch pipe is a bit challenge to fit
stay tuned
