1994 Honda Prelude 2.2 Si-Vtec (Import) (260 Bhp)
1994 Honda Prelude 2.2 Si-Vtec (Import) (260 Bhp)
I have for sale my beloved Honda Prelude 2.2 Si-Vtec in Milano Red.
This is not an original factory specification car, but is probably one of the best spec’d and great condition cars in the UK.
11 months MOT with lots of documented service History (Paperwork & USB stick of photos)
I have owned the car for the past 6 years, is my 18th Honda Prelude and the prelude that I have owned the longest. However, as I don’t use the car much these days, I want the car to go to someone who will enjoy and cherish this rare motor vehicle.
I purchased the car from a former Honda Prelude Car Club member and I had known the car since I owned my first Prelude in 2004.
The car/engine build was mainly built by the previous owner using some very rare parts by JUN.
After purchasing the car, there were areas of the car that I felt needed enhancement and fully combine the capability of the cars engine and chassis.
The Journey of the cars development can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=16861
It hasn’t been updated for a while, but maintenance has continued and the car is constantly polished and waxed.
The car is dry stored between October to April each year.
New handbrake cables have just been fitted to the car as one was at the edge of adjustment limit.
The car was originally used as a daily, but due to its good condition and wanting to maintain it, I decided to use it for Car shows and the odd track day.
However, before using on track, I wanted to ensure the car ran safely and reliably and fitted a Mocal Oil Cooler and baffled sump. Oil was also upgraded to Millers CFS 10w-50 or 10w-60.
The car is fitted with Bucket seats, but has the majority of the interior fitted, with the rear of the car being carpeted.
The car drives faultlessly and is extremely compliant and reliable.
Gearing is probably a little too short to use as a daily driver due to the short ratio gearbox fitted with uprated Torsen LSD, but I doubt that the new owner will want to use it for this.
The car generally is in very good condition for its age, but there are age related marks all around the car. It is in no-means perfect and the new owner could address these if necessary.
There are no parking dings on the car as I park as far away from any other car as possible when I use her. J
I have listed everything I am aware of that may need attention and want to be as open and honest as possible.
If anyone wishes to call me about the car, be prepared for a long conversation about Hondas and Preludes

A lovely looking car with an impressive spec. Considering the price of Ludes at the moment, I think it is a reasonable price. Good luck with the sale!
