Wonder what the owner spent £10.5k on in the last year?
Ltd edition? Looks like a normal 2.0i-16 4ws. Leather and carpets were all optional.
Still, excellent condition, shame it's not a manual and red.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

gotta be 1.5k , which is about what you can expect to spend owning and running any old car these days (not to say it was in poor condition before hand). Still, be interesting to ask the seller for more info lol.

No it is 10.5k. He bought it off me for about 4.2k, then had a full respray, alongside a bunch of mechanical bits and bobs. I have kept in touch with the guy since I sold it to him.

Did it need a respray? As a painter I know that only devalues things at a certain point.

It depends, it didn't need a respray to be a good useable classic. If you wanted to make it concourse then yes it did need one. It had seen paint at somepoint before in places so a full, proper, high quality respray would have certainly improved it.RattyMcClelland wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 12:18 amDid it need a respray?
