Insurance for modified lude where to start ?
Hi everyone.
I'm going to move my car over here from Poland in the short future. Prelude will be registered In the UK but at the moment it's still on Polish reg plates. I've done a lot of mods into it including rebuilding & turbocharging an engine.
I would like to have an insurance which will include all of the mods & make my car more valuable if something happen.
Could someone advise me step by step how to get one please. Where to start, what I need to do first, what I will need etc ?
Many thanks in advance

The Prelude qualifies for classic car insurance now. It's so cheap.
My Type S is with Classic Line insurance. Agreed value of £16k with all mods declared. The don't use NCB just mileage. Around 4k per year.

I'm with Adrian Flux on a modified classic policy.
Miles limited to 5k a year, all mods declared and a good agreed value.

But tell me guys how you declare all mods ? You making a list of mods at quote form or is it someone from your insurance company had to see the car ? Is it any invoices been needed ?

With mine, no dyno printout requested. I listed all the mods and put a price against each, sent that along with detailed photos of the car.
