4th Gen Radiators in 2023

Hi there guys,

Really struggling to find a Radiator for my 1996 Gen 4 2.0 Auto. I know the gearbox oil cooler also runs through the radiator so aftermarket Alloy ones are a no go. I was also hoping to keep this one Semi-standard looking (OEM+ Style)

Does anyone know of any shared parts or anywhere I can get a new Rad that will fit?

I have tried Ebay, and their listings always seem to say accord/prelude but never the correct age for my prelude (Although the picture looks prettly close).
I have also tried searching the part number I found on the honda EPC lookup. That also brings no results on an ebay search. I have also been out to the car and checked and there are not visible part numbers on the current radiator. I think its a non genuine unit fitted currently. It also seems breaking 4th gens are hard to come by with trustworthy looking parts fitted.

Any Ideas? Or does a MK5 auto fit a MK4 auto?

I found this one on ebay - it has in its notes reference about the combined oil cooler. If you send them your vin and reg number they will check fitment for you.

make sure you tell them the car is an automatic.

we used to buy ones that were listed as for rover 600 and they could fit auto or manual as they were cheap - maybe Merlin or Indigolemon can remember
they went onto 4th gen manual vtec....might fit 2 litre 4th gen as well

Think I've got an auto rad out a 2.2 4th gen in my garage, where abouts are you? Doing some travelling over this next week

You could have your old rad repaired an recored just Google car radiator repair in your area an see what comes up

ooft they have gone up in price but nissens is a top brand

think last time i bought one of the rover 600 rads they were £30 - they have a slightly thicker core than oem but no fitment issue at all.

A rover 600 is the same chassis as a 5th gen accord cd ce chassis. So those should also be the same
