So i think the time has come i am now seriously contemplating breaking my Lude. I have tried to sell it at a cheap price because i wanted someone to take it on and enjoy it, but all i got was muppets calling offering £1500 or asking for videos of me revving the bollocks off it so i put an MOT on it and still get offers of the same amount lol maybe i asked too little maybe that put people off thinking there was loads wrong with it.
I think i would sooner drive it to a recyling yard and watch it crushed than let bellends who cant afford to own a decent car take it but i might list everything and if i get buyers for the lot then i may break it.
If i do break it i would prefer collection

I have tried to sell it for a lot less than the going value but i dont know if its because its modified or if there is just no market at the moment except for cars with problems at £1500 or less

I say there's no market as there's plenty for sale an not many moving mate sign of the times I think not alot of money about with gas prices etc

It is never pleasant having to sell a lude - especially if youve cherished it and worked on it - and selling on fb or gumtree can be a real pain.
I would always list a lude for sale on the forum and be willing to do deal with a fellow LG member.
I sold my much loved (but very rusty) BB4 to someone on LG and he has improved the car and now is doing a full rust repair which is very extensive...anyway it was nice to see it getting some tlc.
