Breakdown Cover
Hi Guy's
Just wondering if You Guy's have any recommendations for breakdown cover?
My current insurer can't supply it as My car is too old
I haven't had breakdown cover since I bought My Lude in 2008.
Only breakdown I have had is a drained battery and that was My fault
Cheers all

Breakdown Cover
Green flag wont cover me as the lude is too old as well.
I've been with the RAC before but their performance was appalling on several occasions.
I'm now with the AA, and I am covered for any vehicle, driver or passenger. When I have needed them, they've been great.

Breakdown Cover
I use the breakdown cover provided by @DAN_ADRIAN FLUX via the insurance.
Only had to use it once - when I had to get recovered back from Brands Hatch earlier this year due to bottom pulley failure, but I absolutely can't fault them.
Straight through to a person in the UK, simple questions, no hassling when I said what the problem was and that it wasn't drive-able/fixable and needed to be recovered. Asked questions to determine if I needed a recovery truck suitable for lowered vehicles so no scrapey-scrapey (yes) and scheduled the recovery for a time I wanted (so I could enjoy the rest of the show).
It's not expensive either £65/year.
I was really pleased they didn't quibble that I was being recovered from a race track (obvs race track use isn't covered under breakdown) they just accepted when I said it was a static show - which it 100% was, but they could have been suspicious/crappy about that if they'd wanted.
