Opinion on 3rd gen for sale
Hi all,
Still on the hunt for the elusive 3rd gen and this has come up for sale again.
It's been on a number of times but I was put off by the 3 spokes and manual box. Though I think I'll try a manual but as it's been for sale before I thought I'd ask, anyone have any views or feedback on it?

Thanks all

OMG those wheels give me 90's throwback PTSD.
The car itself looks great though.

I guess the question is, why wouldn't you buy it?!
Looks in decent condition, log time owner, lots of documented work. Owns another old civic from the pictures - all positive signs.
Price seems fair, they don't grow on trees. If you want it you've got to act on your impulse. Wheels won't be glued on, you can always swap them!

Yep agreed i guess I'm looking for opinions as my circle (in the real world) don't offer anything other than 'old Honda, like the one you had before?? Why? For how much??' Etc.
I like the green, maybe get a spoiler from a breaker ? Not sure why m doubting myself...

I mean there is always a bit of a gamble with a 30+ year old car, but I'm sure you know what your getting yourself into, it's all part of the scene.
It's probably not sensible if it's your only car or travel option - but if it's just a weekend plaything and you've got spare cash to keep it in good condition, then why not go for it!

Seems a realistic price, compared to the asking price of some, plus import costs.

That looks really good tbh. The wheels can always be changed.
If you want an auto box... I have one that I want to manual swap - we could exchange parts

The 4WS 2.0i-16 is the 3G model to go for that is for sure. Not a bad price IMO, there are a couple of 4WS 2.0i-16's on Facebook marketplace for more.

Thanks for the words of confidence folks!
So it needs all suspension bushes, and I think super pro cover them so that's doable.
And it has under body corrosion so that'll need treating.
I'll keep you posted chaps!
