Radiator broken. Now sorted with your help.

Hi all and I'm in a right state here. The radiator is kaput and although we've tried everywhere, so far we've come up with zilch and I need a new one, pronto.
Any help to source one (and in stock) will be appreciated. I'm not bothered about the price, I just need to get her back on the road.

Simon im sure your 4th gen is an automatic and requires a different rad to manual cars. The auto has connections for cooling the auto gearbox so mishimoto or any performance rad will not work.
Many years back many of us bought radiators that were for the rover 600 they had the connections for the auto box and were inexpensive.
I will have a look and see if any are available from stock in uk.

This rad is for MK4 2lire auto so im not sure if it will fit your lude - but I would contact the seller and give him you reg and vin number and ask him to advise - e seems to have quite a few rads for sale so maybe he can sort something out for you asap.

Thanks vanzep. Bloody hell I'm so heartbroken. Mind you, through all the ghastly stress, I've learnt that radiators are not metal. I have a photo of the broken bit but I'm doing this on my phone and the shot is too big. I'll go onto my laptop later and show you the damage. I guess the saving grace is that I wasn't on the M62 when all this happened...

The plastic does go brittle over time. I can already see my 5th gen one starting to look like a ticking time bomb. Maybe many years away, maybe tomorrow. Its on my list

As said, there is some similarity with rover 600 rads (rover 618/620/623 i/sli, not 620ti however) as they had honda engines and gearbox.
