Fore sure brakes and some engine/gearbox parts. Some Rovers used the same 2.3. There will be some other random stuff too.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Just to note, the expansion tank filler nozzle shouldn't really be located at 90 degrees like that - putting a tight kink into the expansion hose. Should be oriented approx 45 degrees towards the radiator.

Thanks, Iain and looking at the photo, I see what you mean. I'll move it this weekend to remove the kink. Much appreciated.wurlycorner wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2024 6:52 pmJust to note, the expansion tank filler nozzle shouldn't really be located at 90 degrees like that - putting a tight kink into the expansion hose. A small addition to the radiator fix, fellas, that's worth the briefest of mentions. Last Sunday while I was faffing about with the car, I noticed a patch of oil under the car after I'd moved it. Not a puddle or anything like that, but 'wet' enough to get me into serious fretting mode.
Luckily, I was in the Halifax office and not Leeds on the Monday so I swung by AB to let them have a look. After a quick look underneath, they found that one of the brass fittings for the AT fluid was not tightened and could see the oil weeping from it. A quick quarter turn was all that was needed and since then no oil patches have been visible. I think this finally-finally ends the radiator saga.

@wurlycorner Hi Iain, here's the pipe without the ninety degree kink as you recommended. Thanks so much.

It normally routes over the top of the radiator bracket (sits in that black plastic C-clip) but that's an alternative neat, inventive way of routing it!
