Inner and Outer Rear 4WS track rod ends

Hi guys,

So I've always suspected that my rear track rods are on the way out as I have a little bit of play on the off-side inner joint by the steering rack, however I have just failed my MOT today due to play in the off-side OUTER track rod end. (Apparently)

For piece of mind I'd like to replace both, however these are obviously discontinued now. I know people use Vecta track rod ends for the outer joints, but at about the inner joints? Admittedly I'm very unfamiliar with this area of my car.

I also need to get this sorted asap as it's my daily driver, and I also need to source a new front steering gator apparently! Car is a 1997 5th gen 2.2VTI manual 4WS bb6

If it's a 4WS car it will be a BB8

The inner rod end part number is 53020-ss0-000 but not sure if these are available anywhere.

Yes you're right I should have remembered that! I even have a bb8 sticker on the dashboard (star wars reference

).

I linked you to the ones on ebay japan on facewank but if you need them ASAP you'll have to go to a scrapper and find a 2nd hand set.
Unless someone has a spare lying around they can sell.

Thanks for the help guys, in the end someone offered me a full second hand rear steering rack with inner and outer joints included. I grabbed that, and then also bought the new Vecta track rod ends just in case.
