Wheels help
My wheels need a refurb, BADLY!
However, I think the one thing I need to finish the look of my car of is to have wheel which sit right out to the arch, widening the broken suspension look.
Currently wheels sit about an inch inside the arch, as you can just about see in this pic:
If I were to look for a new set of rims, what offset/width would I need to get the broken suspension look I'm after?
Something like Si_Import has:
Although his fronts are probably slightly too wide, as I'm not a fan of the stretched tyre look.

rather than changing the wheels, have you thought about hubcentric spacers?

Si's wheels are 8' and 10et. So if you take 30 off the the et down to 40 and run a 9' wheel maybe it can be done??
The rota grids only took a small amount of arch work to get them to fit but do be aware, arch work will prob crack the paint and need spraying, plus it can disturb any old rust repair jobs. Meaning abit of spray work.

Surely I could just run an 8" wheel with et20 and it will sit just right?106pete wrote:Si's wheels are 8' and 10et. So if you take 30 off the the et down to 40 and run a 9' wheel maybe it can be done??

My rear arches were rebuilt last year, and when they were done the lips have been tucked under so all is good there ready to go
