Just failed mot on..........you guessed it I'm sure..........fkn handbrake :x
Discs and pads are new so I guess it's back to playing with the calipers

Mine is on the 23rd with tramroad :? Got near new rear caliper tho.

Just calipers tho, could be worse ;)

Mine just failed on that as well. I knew it was going to.

The lever bit the cable attaches to on the right hand caliper was partially seized.

Loads of GT85 and some encouragement with a big hammer and molegrips did the trick. Works lovely now!

I've always wondered. What do people do to service the handbrake cable at the caliper. Just a clean of and regrease?

After ages of fkn around n/s rear is still not working. had to free up the cable connection as it was rusted solid. Took ages to get the pin out to clean it up. all parts moving but still no handbrake that side :cry:

Did JDM-BB4 (Dave) ever sell the ones he had for sale? They were either new or at the very least recent refurbs.
