It's an automated program that goes all over the internets collecting documents (webpages basically

) to create a "searchable index", basically it collects a lot of information so that when we type "boobs" or other naughty things it knows what to display

You will be happy to know that there are around 50 bot names already included when phpbb3 (latest version) is first installed.

Anyone trying to register with any bot name will be rejected and hunted down by the tranforming half badger, half otter - aka Ammo.
