It's very nice and imo probably worth the price.

Shame about about the uber bum droppings gearknob and steering wheel.

Cheers Ratty

It states FACE LIFT
But its a 1989 model?
No rear wipers?
Rear cluster lights same?

So whats difference btw pre and facelift?

I do like the fact it s got the amber corner lights :-)
Wonder where his side lights are (as amber side lights are illegal)?

It's a pre facelift.

Facelifts have different front and rear bumpers, different rear lights, bootlid and rear slam panel and different front fogs and indicators. That's pretty much it.

Because...
1989 Honda Prelude
2ltr 16v B20A7 engine
Manual gearbox
4 wheel steering
Recent oil/filter change
New plugs/leads
Immaculate interior
All rust cut out and new metal welded in - zero filler, zero rust
Partial service history
2 new front CV joints
4 new tyres
New clutch
New slave and master cylinders
Custom exhaust using original back box
BC Racing coilover suspension
Alignment set on a Hunter machine
1.5 degrees of camber front, 3 degrees of camber rear
7.5/8.5x17 BBS wheels
12 months MOT
6 months tax
Everything works perfectly and it drives like new, just a lot lower :D

Smooth, comfortable, quiet, handles fantastically, fast. Only reason for sale is to start a new project. Facelift 3rd generation preludes with 4WS, manual box and 16V engine are the most sort after combination and you are unlikely to see another advertised for some time. Let alone in this condition and with these modifications.

;-)

Put it this way, if this was an equivalent Nissan or Toyota of the same era in the same condition as this Prelude, then you'd be required to be paying twice what this guy is asking for. We all know Honda's or more particularly Preludes don't fetch what they deserve usually, so we need to start bumping our asking prices up.

... In my opinion :)

Cheers Nafe

But I am still new to Ludes and not really know much about cars.

So in the long list description, which bit(s) increased its value that much?
Or were u just glad to see a lude asking for the "this is how much its worth" than "how much it would actually sell for"?

Sorry - just like to know more ...

It's a little of both.

The...

2ltr 16v B20A7 engine
Manual gearbox
4 wheel steering

... Is the best combination for a 3rd gen for a start.

The...

Immaculate interior
All rust cut out and new metal welded in - zero filler, zero rust

... Goes to show he loved this car and along with...

Recent oil/filter change
New plugs/leads
2 new front CV joints
4 new tyres
New clutch
New slave and master cylinders

... Means he cared for it as he should.

Then the...

Custom exhaust using original back box
BC Racing coilover suspension
Alignment set on a Hunter machine
1.5 degrees of camber front, 3 degrees of camber rear
7.5/8.5x17 BBS wheels

... Means he's got pizzazz, and the...

12 months MOT
6 months tax...

Means he's got sense ;-)

Basically I spent around about this much getting my 3rd gen to the same standard, so I can appreciate the car for the money.

Thanks Nafe!

Is the "2ltr 16v B20A7 engine" in all 4ws ludes?

So my 4ws has it too then?

Cheers
